Behind-The-Wheel and/or Driver Education Courses:
Students must have a valid California Learners Permit or Driver's License which must be physically present during the driving lesson.
A forfeited lesson is when an instructor arrives at a lesson for any of the following:

The student does not have a valid California Learners Permit or Driver's License.

The student is impaired for any reason (lack of sleep, intoxication, medication, etc.).

The student isn't wearing the correct footwear which may impair the ability to safely operate the vehicle (sandals not accepted at all).

The student has corrective lenses restrictions and shows up without glasses or contacts.

The student did not confirm a lesson cancellation with our online portal or with the office, prior to the driver leaving for the day (typically before 8am.)
