    Each lesson is 2 hours of private one-on-one instruction.
  • 🚗 Do you offer pick-up and drop-off?
    Yes! We pick up and drop off anywhere in our service area (Chico, Durham) — home, school, or work. also you can Text your name and the address minimum 2 hours before the lesson.
  • How early should I be ready?
    Please be ready 5–10 minutes before or after your scheduled time. We offer flexible pickup windows to accommodate traffic.
  • What happens if I’m late or miss my lesson?
    If you’re more than 15 to 20 minutes late without notice, it may count as a missed lesson. Please notify us in advance if you’re running late.
  • Can a parent or guardian ride along?
    Yes, parents may sit in on lessons if space allows, or the student feels more comfortable or has especial needs, especially during early lessons.
  • Can I split a package with a sibling or friend?
    No — each package is tied to one student for safety and certification.
  • Where will we drive?
    Local neighborhoods, open roads, and close to DMV test routes if needed.
  • Will I get the same instructor every time?
    We try to keep consistency, but availability may vary.
  • What if I’m really nervous?
    That’s okay. We specialize in nervous and first-time drivers.
  • Can I practice freeway driving?
    Yes, if your instructor deems you ready.
  • Can I focus on specific skills during my lesson?
    Definitely. Just tell your instructor what you’d like to work on.
  • Can I eat or drink in the car?
    Water is okay. No food during lessons.
  • Will I get a progress report?
    Yes — instructors give feedback after each session.
  • Can I request weekend lessons?
    Yes — availability may be limited, so book early.
  • Do you send reminders?
    Yes — via text and email, 24 hours before your lesson.
  • Can I practice in my own car?
    No — for safety and insurance, we only use our vehicles.
  • What if my instructor never arrives?
    If 20min passed, with no communication Please contact us immediately. We’ll reschedule.
  • Do I need insurance to take lessons?
    No — you’re fully covered by our school’s commercial vehicle insurance.
  • Can I repeat a lesson I didn’t feel confident in?
    Absolutely. Repeat any area you’d like to master — we’re here to help.
  • 💵 Do I pay now or later?
    You can pay by each lesson, at the time of your lesson. We accept cash, proffered. (card, or mobile payment includes online fees)
  • How much does a lesson cost?

  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
  • What if I need to cancel?
    Same policy — just cancel with 48 hours’ notice, so you don't pay late cancelation fee.
  • Are tips required?
    No, but they’re appreciated and it will motivate the instructor to get better, also when you had a great experience.
  • Can I get an invoice or receipt?
    Yes — just ask and we’ll email or print one.
  • Can I get a full refund for unused lessons?
    No.

    Yes! After 6 hours of instruction, we provide the certificate you need for DMV approval.
  • Do you support community or school events?
    Yes — we love sponsoring youth and educational programs. Reach out.
  • Are your instructors trained in trauma-informed teaching?
    Yes — our team is trained in calm, respectful, and adaptive communication.
  • Do you train adults who haven’t driven in years?
    Yes — we specialize in re-training adult drivers too.
  • How early should I start lessons before the DMV test?
    Ideally 2–4 weeks, depending on your skill level.
  • Will you update my parents on my progress?
    Yes — just ask and we’ll provide reports or feedback.
  • Do you work with drivers who have anxiety?
    Yes — our instructors are trained to be calm and supportive.

    Yes — the driving principles apply, even if not in your car.

    You’ll drive a premium, dual-controlled vehicles like the Mazda CX-50 and VW Atlas Cross Sport — very safe, comfortable, and modern.

    Absolutely — our advanced packages include DMV test practice, and we offer full evaluations and prep lessons.
  • Do you offer lessons for adults?
    Yes, we work with teens, adults, seniors, and international drivers.

    We drive rain or shine — unless road conditions are unsafe. In that case, we’ll reschedule at no cost.
  • Are your instructors certified?
    Yes — all instructors are DMV-licensed, background-checked, and trained in defensive and adaptive teaching techniques.
  • Do you offer bilingual instructors?
    Yes — we have instructors who speak English, Arabic, and other languages coming soon.
