Pricing, payment and receipts

The price and included services are those shown in the confirmed order summary. Promotions apply only during their stated period and cannot be combined unless Stallion confirms otherwise in writing. A later price change does not alter a completed purchase.

Listed prices are for payment by card online. Paying by cash or check to your instructor at the lesson receives a cash discount; the cash or check price is shown next to the listed price. Fees, such as the restoration and replacement certificate fees, are the same however they are paid. Whole packages (the Diamond package and the DMV exam package) are paid in full: online at checkout, or, for a pay-in-person booking request that Stallion confirms, the full cash or check package price is paid to the instructor at the first lesson of the package, before driving begins. No Stallion package, lesson, or plan renews automatically or charges a card again without a new purchase.

Stallion may accept the payment methods displayed at checkout or separately approved in writing. Cash and check payments must be recorded on the student's account and supported by a receipt. An instructor may accept payment only when Stallion authorizes the collection and issues or records a receipt. The customer should not send permit images, banking information, or other sensitive records through an unapproved personal channel.

An installment is due on the date shown in the payment schedule. Stallion may place future bookings, certificates, and unused credits on hold while a balance, returned payment, lawful charge, or payment dispute remains unresolved. A returned check may be charged no more than the service charge California Civil Code section 1719 allows (currently $25 for the first returned check and $35 for each later one), and a reversed or returned card payment may be charged only the actual provider cost disclosed before payment, to the extent permitted by law. Stallion will not add an undisclosed discretionary fee.

School changes, weather, force majeure and system errors

Stallion may substitute another qualified instructor or suitable training vehicle without changing the purchased service. Instructor and vehicle preferences are not guaranteed.

If Stallion changes or cancels a lesson because of instructor unavailability, vehicle failure, unsafe weather, an operational problem, or another school controlled reason, it restores the lesson credit and rebooking is free. The restored credit remains valid through the later of its original expiration or 90 days after the cancellation. The customer must allow a reasonable opportunity for replacement performance before requesting a refund.

Wildfire, flood, road closure, government order, utility failure, widespread communications outage, civil emergency, or another event outside reasonable control may delay service. Stallion will restore affected credit or provide reasonable replacement dates. A temporary or safety based interruption does not create a cash refund except when required by law.

The website, booking system, calendar, payment provider, email, dashboard messaging service, or third party platform may occasionally display stale availability, duplicate a request, delay a notice, or fail. Stallion may correct a clear system or clerical error after reviewing the audit record and notifying the customer. The latest confirmed booking record and payment receipt control, subject to applicable law.

Packages, credits, expiration and transfers

A package and its credits belong to the named student. Credits may not be sold, shared, assigned, or transferred to a sibling, relative, friend, or another account unless Stallion approves a correction required by law or needed to fix an account error.

Behind the wheel packages, extra lessons and lesson credits must be used within their validity period from purchase (Diamond and Gold: valid 1 year from purchase; DMV exam: valid 90 days from purchase) unless the order summary states another term or law requires otherwise. The DMV exam package is sold only as one package of two lessons; its lessons are not sold or paid separately. It is paid in full online, or, for a confirmed pay-in-person request, the full cash or check package price is paid to the instructor at lesson 1, before driving begins. Lesson 1 prepares for the test and takes place before the test day. Lesson 2 takes place on the student's DMV road-test appointment date, starts that day and ends no later than 30 minutes after the appointment time, so the customer must book the DMV appointment first and give Stallion its date, time and DMV office. A no-show, an unready student, or a cancellation less than 24 hours before an exam package lesson uses that lesson, and a lesson not taken before the package expires is forfeited. The customer must book early enough to complete the package. Availability is not guaranteed for a particular instructor, date, or time.

A timely cancellation restores an eligible credit. A consumed late cancellation or no show credit is not automatically restored. Credits have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash except when this agreement or applicable law requires a refund.

Gift codes, referral codes and promotions

A gift code bought from Stallion is a gift certificate under California law. It does not expire, carries no service or dormancy fee, and can be redeemed for the package or lesson named on it at any time, even if the price later changes. The package validity period (Diamond and Gold: valid 1 year from purchase; DMV exam: valid 90 days from purchase) starts only when the code is redeemed. Stallion replaces a lost or undelivered code after verifying the purchase. Where California law gives the holder a right to cash for a remaining balance under $10, Stallion honors it on request at Support@stallion-school.com.

A referral code gives $10 off a new family's first booking paid online. It is limited to one per new family, cannot be used on the referring family's own account, has no cash value, and cannot be combined with another promotion unless Stallion confirms otherwise in writing. Promotional, referral and free credits may carry an expiration date shown with the offer; a gift code bought for money never does.

Refunds and credits

Customer choice purchases are final and nonrefundable to the maximum extent permitted by law. A change of mind, move, schedule conflict, instructor preference, failure to obtain or maintain a permit, failure to complete before expiration, DMV result, or decision to use another school does not create a cash refund. When timely cancellation is allowed, the remedy is student account credit. A lesson used by a late change, no show, unready student, or misconduct is not refunded or credited.

A cash refund is limited to:

• A duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorized charge confirmed after review
• Unused lessons that Stallion itself cancels, or cannot deliver because of a problem on Stallion's side, when Stallion chooses a refund instead of free rebooking or no reasonable replacement can be provided during the extended credit period
• A final card network determination or another nonwaivable consumer right

An approved refund is limited to the unearned amount that must be returned and is sent to the original payment method when reasonably possible. Processing time depends on the payment provider. Completed instruction, consumed credits, authorized fees, and third party charges remain nonrefundable to the extent permitted by law.
