How a lesson works
Your instructor meets you at home, work or a meeting point, reviews your goals, and spends the full 2 hours driving with you in a dual-control SUV. You get notes on what to practice next.
Common questions
Do adults need a permit?
Adults need a valid California instruction permit or license to drive with us.
Do adults need driver education first?
No. In California, driver education and the 6-hour training are required only under 18. Adults get an instruction permit, practice, then take the DMV drive test. Confirm current rules on dmv.ca.gov.
Can I book just one lesson?
Yes. The Gold lesson is a single private 2-hour lesson for adult learners. Many adults use one Gold lesson as a road-test warm-up; for test day with our car, choose the DMV exam package.
Can you help me pass the drive test?
Yes. The DMV exam package is 4 hours (2 × 2-hour lessons) + our car for your DMV road test. Lesson 2 is on your DMV appointment day, and the package is valid 90 days.
