Stallion Drivers Ed Academy is Stallion’s DMV-approved online driver education course for California teens. It covers the 30 hours of driver education required before a learner’s permit, ends with the DL 400C Certificate of Completion, and leads straight into the 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training with Stallion School of Driving in Chico.
THE COURSE OPENS ON STALLIONDRIVERSED.COM, OUR ONLINE ACADEMYFrom online course to driver’s license.
In California, a driver under 18 needs three things before the drive test: 30 hours of driver education (online is fine), 6 hours of professional behind-the-wheel training, and 50 hours of supervised practice. Online driver education comes first because the DL 400C certificate is what lets you apply for a permit at 15½.
The online course is self-paced and mobile-friendly, with quizzes, videos and practice tests that prepare you for the DMV written test. When you pass and get your permit, the same team teaches your behind-the-wheel hours in Chico, Durham, Paradise, Oroville, Gridley, Biggs, Corning and Orland.
Requirements can change. Confirm current rules on dmv.ca.gov.
