Your instruction permit, your appointment confirmation, and the training certificate if you are under 18. Check the DMV site for anything else required for your situation.
The vehicle
The car must be safe and legal: working lights and signals, horn, brakes, mirrors, seat belts, and current registration and insurance.
The pre-drive check
